Australia Day 2024 at Government House Victoria

Sikh Volunteers Australia team was invited to the Australia Day service held at Government House Victoria. Her Excellency Professor The Honourable Margaret Gardner AC met with our volunteers. SVA team was also serving Free Vegetarian Food to the attendees at the event with the presence of SVA’s Free Food Van.

New Free Food Van for the Needy in Rosebud (Victoria)

With the blessing of the Lord and continued support from the community, Sikh Volunteers Australia is delighted to announce that from 26 December 2023 at 1.00pm. SVA will be running a new food van service to serve the community and the needy in the Rosebud Memorial Hall parking lot in collaboration with the Southern Peninsula Community Support to assist the Rosebud community.

SVA Volunteers and Kids meet Premier Jacinta Allan at Parliament

Volunteers and the Kids Group of Sikh Volunteers Australia had the privilege of visiting the Parliament, and met with the Premier Hon Jacinta Allan and other MPs. On this special occasion, Sikh Volunteers Australia took the opportunity to present Madam Premier with a framed picture of Darbar Sahib Sri Harmandir Sahib, a symbol of peace and unity and also presented a Cue card book aimed at addressing linguistic barriers in the healthcare system.
