Sikh Volunteers Australia would like to thank Lions Club of Frankston for inviting us in their monthly meeting and presented $2000 cheque for Food Van services The funds will be used in various SVA Free Food projects in our community. Mr Jaswinder Singh, CEO of Sikh Volunteers Australia was invited to share the work and projects of SVA with the members. A cheque presentation ceremony was conducted that evening and the donation was accepted by Mr Jaswinder on behalf of SVA during their meeting.

 

The Lions Club of Frankston have expressed their kind words through their social media posting.

“We had the privilege last evening at our Lions Business meeting, to have a representative from Sikh Volunteers Australia, to give us a talk on their organisation and what they have been doing in regard to the recent floods and fires. We then proudly donated $2,000.00 to their organisation. Thank you to Jaswinder Singh, CEO of Sikh Volunteers Australia who attended our meeting. We wish them well moving forward and hope that our small donation will be put to good use.”
