On May 1, 2024, the 1st South Frankston Scout Group and the Mount Eliza Scouts made their fifth visit to Sikh Volunteers Australia.
This enlightening trip provided the Scouts an in-depth look into the Sikh way of life, introducing them to the principles of Langar (the community kitchen), and the Sikh Articles of Faith. They also received a captivating presentation on the Sikh Anzacs.
After an enriching learning experience, everyone enjoyed the communal Langar meal. Special commendations go to Tanya and the other Scout leaders for their efforts in fostering such valuable community connections.
