Sikh Volunteers Australia (SVA) takes pride in sharing our organisational goals and values with the wider Australian community. SVA has been approached many times by schools, colleges, social/cultural and corporate organisations to provide a Guest Speaker to provide insight knowledge of the Sikh way of life and Sikh Volunteer’s Free Food Services.
Sharing with Staff of Cranbourne East Secondary College
27 Apr 2023 – Under the Sikh Volunteers Australia Interfaith Engagement programme, Cranbourne East Secondary College invited our guest speaker to speak to all Staff members about Diversity, Sikh Way of Life and Sikh articles of faith. As per School Principal Megan Cook, the college is trying to adopt diversity and morals of all communities in the core values of institution and providing information and knowledge to the staff about CALD Communities is one way of doing it. SVA thanks to all staff members and principal Megan Cook for attending and organising this session.

9 Sept 2022 – Sikh Volunteers Australia were invited by SES Brandbank Unit to learn about SVA services and Sikh way of life.

SES Central Region Guest Speaker
11 May 2022 – Sikh volunteers Australia was invited by SES Central Region as a Guest speaker on 11 May 2022. The session was about the SVA services and the Sikh way of Life to promote Multiculturism in the community. The hospitality and welcomeness of SES Central Region were fabulous. A special thanks to Malvina Tsecoutanis Multicultural Engagement officer at SES for arranging everything and Colin T. Campbell Multicultural Liaison Officer Fire Rescue Victoria for being a mentor and guide to this Project.

6 Sept 2022 – Under the Interfaith Engagement program of Sikh Volunteers Australia, St. Jude’s primary school Langwarrin invited our guest speaker to provide information to students about the Sikh Community and the Sikh Way of life.
