The Governor-General of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley and Her Excellency Mrs. Linda Hurley invited the Sikh Volunteers Australia (SVA) team for a zoom meeting this morning to acknowledge and show appreciation for serving the community of Victoria, Australia.

In 2020 during the Bush Fires in Victoria…
His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) of Commonwealth of Australia’s visited Sikh Volunteers Australia free food van today at Bairnsdale Relief Centre and thanked the Sikh Volunteers for their efforts in providing freshly cooked food daily to the Bush Fires affected families and community. He gave encouragement to the Sikh Volunteers to keep up the good work being done.
