Sharing with Grade 11 Students of Scotch College Hawthorn

10 Mar 2024 – Under the Interfaith Engagement programme of Sikh Volunteers Australia, Scotch College Hawthorn invited our guest speaker to speak with Grade 11 students about the Sikh Way of Life for a Second time. The Students and staff were briefed about the Sikh Way Of Life, Sikh Articles of Faith, and Turban. Thank you to Mr Adam Somes, Director of Co-Curricular, Mr Tim Rayner – Director of Years 11 and 12, Mr Nick Miller Coordinator of Upper School Operations and all the staff involved for organising this excellent session.

Sharing with Grade 3 Students of Lyndhurst Primary School

29 Feb 2023 – Under the Interfaith Engagement programme of Sikh Volunteers Australia, Lyndhurst Primary School invited our guest speaker to speak with Grade 3 students about Diversity, Community Building, and the Sikh Way of Life for a third year. These interactions are crucial for the formation of a multiculturally cohesive society. Sharing with Grade 3 to 6 Students of Barton Primary School

21 Feb 2023 – Under the Interfaith Engagement programme of Sikh Volunteers Australia, Barton Primary School invited our guest speaker to speak with Grade 3-6 students about Diversity, Community Building, and the Sikh Way of Life. These interactions are crucial for the formation of a multiculturally cohesive society. 8 Dec 2022 – Our team met with staff members of Narre Warren Police station and had shared the information about SVA activities and Sikh Way of life. It was great session between Victoria Police and SVA Team.

13 Dec 2022 – Sikh Volunteers Australia invited by St Joseph’s Primary School in Warragul, Victoria to share SVA’s work and the Sikh Way of life with school students. We would like to thank staff and students of St Joseph’s Primary School Warragul for this opportunity.

9 Sept 2022 – Sikh Volunteers Australia were invited by SES Brandbank Unit to learn about SVA services and Sikh way of life.

SES Central Region Guest Speaker

11 May 2022 – Sikh volunteers Australia was invited by SES Central Region as a Guest speaker on 11 May 2022. The session was about the SVA services and the Sikh way of Life to promote Multiculturism in the community. The hospitality and welcomeness of SES Central Region were fabulous. A special thanks to Malvina Tsecoutanis Multicultural Engagement officer at SES for arranging everything and Colin T. Campbell Multicultural Liaison Officer Fire Rescue Victoria for being a mentor and guide to this Project.
