Scout Groups at SVA for Visits
On May 1, 2024, the 1st South Frankston Scout Group and the Mount Eliza Scouts made their fifth visit to Sikh Volunteers Australia. This enlightening trip provided the Scouts an in-depth look into the Sikh way of life.

SVA will be running a new food van service to serve the community and the needy in the Rosebud Memorial Hall parking lot in collaboration with the Southern Peninsula Community Support to assist the Rosebud community.

Volunteers and the Kids Group of Sikh Volunteers Australia had the privilege of visiting the Parliament, and met with the Premier Hon Jacinta Allan and other MPs. On this special occasion, Sikh Volunteers Australia took the opportunity to present Madam Premier with a framed picture of Darbar Sahib Sri Harmandir Sahib, a symbol of peace and unity and also presented a Cue card book aimed at addressing linguistic barriers in the healthcare system.

The CUBS heard about the Langar Concept and Sikh Articles of Faith and watched a short video on how Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar prepares and serves Langar to almost 100,000 people every day.
